Inspired by a resident cancer survival story, the Florida city of Pembroke Pines passed what is thought to be the first resolution in the state to warn residents about the possibility of cellphone radiation causing cancer.
The resolution encourages residents to keep their cellphones at least one-inch away from their bodies, use a headset or speakerphone and send messages by text or email.
